Expected co-operation from guests, dignitaries and guardians at the time of residence in Gurukulam or Vedic Vidya Kendra
1. Parents are requested to reach on time for Yajna in the morning and Sandhya in the evening and kindly keep your mobile on vibrate, silent or switched off mode during Yajna and Sandhya.
2. Request the parents to maintain silence and use appropriate language in the Gurukulam premises. They are not to wander here and there without any specific purpose or work.
3. Pay special attention to your costumes in order to maintain the virtuous atmosphere of the Gurukulam.
4. Parents or Guardians should not have inappropriate and excessive conversations with Brahmacharis. They will not take brahmacharis out of the Gurukulam premises without the permission of the Acharya, nor bring anything from outside for any brahmachari.
5. Parents, Guardians are expected to inform Gurukulam 15 days in advance or at least 7 days in advance, of their visit. In certain urgent or undefined circumstances, parents can visit the gurukulam at shorter notice. They are to inform gurukulam as early as possible to make the reservation for stay.
6. Guardians are allowed to stay in Gurukulam for two days only and not more than two-three persons only. In case of special needs, the parents should contact the Gurukulam and take appropriate permission.
7. Parents shall not give the food items to the students of the Gurukulam. If they wish to, they can contribute monetarily. After donating the money, the parents must get the receipt (along with the donation, the parents must also send their PAN card number, address, email and mobile number along with it).
8. Gurukulam makes a humble request to all the parents that they strictly follow the rules of Gurukulam and maintain the dignity of Gurukulam.
