Eligibility

The Gurukulam is open only for Boys, not for Girls. Following are the relevant eligibility criterion for Gurukulam Admission.

Parents/ Guardians can apply for admission of their son to the Gurukulam provided he has completed Class V. In terms of age, he should have completed 10 years as on 31st March 2023 to apply for admission in the Academic year 2023-24. This means, he should have been born before 1st April 2013. In the academic year 2023-24, students who are going to Classes VII, VIII and IX can also apply. However, the following need to be noted:

If the students are going to Classes V or below, and the Parents are desirous of them enrolling in the Gurukulam, then those parents have to wait until their son clears Class V

The parents need to have a deep interest in having their son learn the scriptures and lead the Gurukulam life. Only such parents  will be encouraged to apply for admission. There is no restriction or bar basis caste or creed. Parents / Guardians of children all across the country can apply for admission to the Gurukulam. For students who do not understand Hindi, they will be taught Hindi. All students will also be taught Sanskrit.

After thorough thought and consideration, if you are keen for your son to study in this Gurukulam, you could apply for the same.

Fee

The annual fee per student is Rs. 96000 (Rupees Ninety six thousand only). If someone is incapable to pay the fee, they can apply for full or partial scholarship by reaching out to the Acharya or office bearers of the Gurukulam. Vedic Vidya Kendra, that runs the Gurukulam, will attempt to not deny education to any deserving applicant for want of funds. Hence, there is a provision for few scholarships for deserving students from the institute. For this, the parent will need to fill up the Form for Scholarship and share proof of his financial condition with the committee.
