Diet

Adequate care is taken to ensure that the students receive clean, tasty, pure, wholesome and nutritious diet in the Gurukulam. This diet supports physical, mental and spiritual development of  students. Menu of the Gurukulam is changed every day to ensure variety.

It includes milk of desi Cow, curd, ghee, green vegetables, many types of pulses, fruits and medicinal beverages. 

The meal system of the Gurukulam is designed according to the Ayurvedic system. Food is cooked as per Ayurvedic principles. The cook of the Gurukulam keeps in mind the health and well-being of the students while preparing the food. 

For breakfast, foods which can be easily made are prepared like milk and oranges, dosa, idli, poha and ghee. Lunch includes roti, vegetables, daal, rice, buttermilk and sweets. Dinner consists of daal, roti, rice and milk.
